Automated Test Coverage Task — Beakon Platform

Establish automated test coverage across the Beakon platform using Vitest (unit/integration) and Playwright (E2E). This includes infrastructure setup, API route tests for all 50+ endpoints, component tests, and 28 named end-to-end feature scenarios covering Auth, VIN Intake, Vendor Onboarding, Pricing, Service Orders, Payments, Notifications, and RBAC flows. Ensures regressions are caught before production. 8 6

This is for messages, it shoudl recognize when someone is offline and the message forwards to email. Example: “You have an unread message from Neil”

SMS Integration

SMS Integration Integrate SMS notifications when a user requests to be notified that way, perhaps if he is not active on the platform (does the platform detect mouse movement?) or other cases where SMS alerts make sense, like when a user hasn't opened or replied to a request in X amount of time. 1 1

In the ticket preview we need a like for vehicle vin and stock number. When a tech is working on multiple cars at once at a new dealer sometimes all the cars are the same, need to quickly verify working on the right car via vin match or stock number match.

Replace Repair Category List with Visual Vehicle Damage Area Selection UI

Replace the existing repair category menu with a vehicle illustration. Display a centered vehicle image (Car/Truck). Show clickable repair category buttons around the vehicle. Selecting a category should behave exactly as the current repair selection. No changes to backend logic. No changes to repair workflow. UI enhancement only.

Fully custom work order (Custom Repair)

Fully custom work order (Custom Repair) Type: Feature Summary: Support a fully custom work order that starts with no price, where the vendor assigns pricing after reviewing the job and the dealer approves before scheduling. Problem / context: Custom Repair is currently neither complete nor functional (per Mohd). This ticket defines the intended end-to-end flow. Proposed behavior: Config: Enabled per vendor — each vendor can have the option to enable a custom sub-type order. Not on by default for all vendors. Creation: Dealer creates a custom service order with no price assigned. Dealer should attach multiple pictures of the work. Vendor review: Vendor receives the service order, reviews the pictures, and can message the dealer back and forth. Pricing: Vendor assigns a price based on the scope they see in the pictures. Approval: Dealer must approve the price (with room for back-and-forth messaging on it). Completion: Once approved, the vendor schedules the job like a normal order and completes it. Notes: This is the original topic of the thread. Likely a larger build since the feature isn't functional today — placement on the roadmap TBD.
